The family builds the home. This is what Diana and Paul Mesaros were taught from an early age. Diana and Paul were both born during the hard and poor times of communism in Eastern Europe, Romania. Their family values, integrity, work ethics, and passion for people were learned from an early age, and these values are still kept and honored through their life and family now.

Diana began her nursing career in 2010 after she graduated from Belmont University. She began working in a large nursing home as a Charge RN, where she quickly realized her calling in caring and helping for others. She eventually accepted a new position in a hospital in Nashville where she worked on multiple Medical-Surgical floors, but settled in a Neonatal ICU where she worked in different important roles including Charge RN and caring for tiny babies. She still loves taking care of her babies.

Paul graduated from Aquinas College School of Nursing in 2014 with a big dream to become a Critical Care RN. His dream became reality and he spent over 7 years working and floating through multiple high acuity ICUs and Emergency Departments, including Medical-Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Critical Care Unit, COVID ICU and Rapid Response Team caring for his patients and their families during the most vulnerable times. Paul brings a lot of medical knowledge and has a keen eye for critical details.

Their passion for caring for people has grown over the years for both Diana and Paul. Thus, in 2020 they opened Silver Lining Home and Care, a beautiful Residential Home for The Aged in Sumner County, TN. Their family team provides care for elderly residents in a home and cozy environment, where residents benefit from home cooked meals served with fresh garden vegetables, and detailed care personalized to the residents’ spiritual, physical, and mental needs, including those residents that are bed-bound and need total assistance.

Diana and Paul see the opportunity for caring for the aging population more than a job. For them, it is a privilege to get to know the residents and their families and create the perfect environment where one can keep their dignity and thrive in the manner that they deserve.
